The artwork showcased on this Website illustrates the wide range of creativity that is possible using advanced computational techniques. The more than 90 VIDEOS and 60 related IMAGES presented on Artcelebre.com are a selection  from original works produced by Anthony Gerber. The work focuses on displaying dynamic interactions between solid and liquid object forms, immersed in three dimensional spatial environments. Remarkable artistic visual effects become possible by the selection of object materials, and applying surface conditions such as color, texture, or reflectivity. Simulating the effects of lighting, refraction, or transparency are among the wide range of parametric options.

The emphasis of the work is on original video and image content, and file portability. This permits data files to be transported readily between different display media and to take advantage of rapidly improving display technology. With adjustments to key  parameters such as resolution, image size, etc., the same videos and images can be shown on larger displays, or with video projectors on video wall assemblies, or in more complex immersive environments with multiple projection and display facilities. At present ten large screen Samsung displays showcase these works and many others in a studio environment.

Anthony Gerber has been working in the field of New Media Art for several years. The work displayed is from the collection of works compiled from the most recent three year period. He holds degrees  in electrical engineering from Kings College, and Queen Mary College London University, including a Ph.D. related to computer based machine learning.
